Study Abroad Destination: The Netherlands

The signature foods of the Netherlands are items such as raw herring, bitterballen, stroop waffles, and fries with mayo. My favorite by far was the fries with mayo, but not all my experiences with food in the Netherlands were positive. Study Abroad Destination: South Korea

After midterms, I went to Gwangju for a day to tour a lab. I also tried Korean poutine (with shredded cheese instead of curds) and visited the May 18th National Cemetery.

I then went to Busan to see the Busan Fireworks Festival, which was the best fireworks show I've ever seen. They had three blast barges and a bridge loaded up with lights, sparklers and fireworks. I also visited a seaside Buddhist temple, relaxed in hot springs and met more Pokemon Go friends.

Study Abroad Destination: Accra, Ghana

Razma is a Linguistics student at Simon Fraser University and is currently studying abroad on exchange in Ghana. She is extremely thrilled to accept this scholarship from BCSA.
