BC Study Abroad Scholarships are back for Spring 2023

Are you currently studying or planning to study abroad in-person or virtually this fall? Apply now for a chance to receive a $500 (virtual study abroad program) and $1000 (in-person study abroad program) to enhance your learning experience abroad. BC Study Abroad Scholarships are now accepting applications.

Any student enrolled at a BC Study Abroad Consortium institution, who is enrolled in or accepted into a short-term, in-person or virtual exchange study abroad program is eligible to apply. Application deadline is Monday, March 13.

Leigh Tipper is a mature student who returned to school at VIU last fall. After having her two children and being a single stay-at-home mother to them, while also homeschooling, she decided that the best way to build a better future for them would be to go back to school. In four years Leigh went from struggling to find a home with them to now being in school full time and about to leave for Norway with the education abroad program. Alec Weinstein was born in Victoria and raised in Campbell River, British Columbia. He is a 3rd-year student at North Island College completing a BBA with a major in marketing. Currently, he is studying at Université Savoie Mont Blanc in the French Alps.
