Receive a hands-on learning experience in the mountains of one of the most unique countries on Earth – the microstate of Andorra, which lies high in the Pyrenees between France and Spain. University Studies, Tourism, Business Management, Environmental Studies and Adventure Tourism students will earn credit towards their diploma or degree through a world-class alpine trek and by engaging governmental, non-governmental and industry stakeholders on topics such as the natural environment as a driver for tourism, tourism’s impact on the environment, carrying capacity, land-use, and climate change. Alternatively, Adventure Tourism and Mountain Adventure Skills students can get industry certified for guiding via ferrata – an adventure tourism activity that is common in Europe but is at its early stage of development in Canada.

Application procedure:
- Submit an application form to Chelsea Ruiter (cruiter@cotr.bc.ca), International Projects Officer.
- Submit a $500 deposit. (Note: Deposits are non-refundable. The College reserves the right to cancel the program due to insufficient enrollment or other factors beyond its control. In case of program cancellation, the College will refund the $500 deposits.)
- Have an instructor who is familiar with you / your abilities submit a reference form to Chelsea Ruiter.
