Tatu Meagher, Simon Fraser University, winner of the Fall 2022 BC Study Abroad: Stories from Abroad Scholarship

Study Abroad Destination: Japan

Tatu is a fourth-year SFU student majoring in psychology with a minor in health and counselling. One day, she hopes to work as a child psychologist or elementary school counsellor. Her hobbies are cafe hopping, thrift shopping, and going for walks in the rain. This year, Tatu was very lucky to have had the opportunity to move abroad for a study semester at Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan. Her current goal is to encourage other students from Vancouver to step outside of their comfort zone and take the chance to apply for their own study abroad experience! Tatu is looking forward to sharing her stories
with you all!
